Palapala, Bacolod Cuisine
During lunch time, my sister would usually bring us there and we ate fresh and yummy lunch. A lot of times we had been there especially when we don't have enough time to go back home. We would easily think and go to that place. The prices are quite reasonable and not so expensive. We love that place because it's cozy and near the beach, near the highway and near the school.
If you happen to visit Bacolod City, Phil., try to ask this place, you will really enjoy.

Guimaras Island
Guimaras is one of the places that I wanted to visit. Why? Because it is the birthplace of my mother. Her parents had a lot of land and mango plantation. It is a place where you could taste the sweetest mango in the Phil. But sad to say, we were not able to eat mangoes there because it's not the season for mangoes.
We were excited to go to that place last week, when we were still in the Phil. for 2 purposes:
First, to visit the bereaved family of my mother (her elder brother passed away)
Second, to visit other relatives we had not seen since were born and for our mother to show us her relatives in the barangay.
That was an exciting moment for us as sisters with our brother. We passed two routes, going way south and coming way north. While visiting some relatives, there was heavy rain, and all of us were just laughing and enjoying. Most ofNanay's relatives were still alive at the age of 90 and above. Our youngest sister was contemplating and asking a lot of times why the people living there lived longer. We missed one auntie of Nanay because she was still selling ibos, puto and suman latik (our delicious delicacies) in the barangay, she was already 90 years old.
We also met another Lola (grandma), she was already 93 years old, and was still strong. We're glad we met and knew them.

Been Silent
I had been silent for a couple of weeks due to the loss of our niece. We went back to the Phil. to see her for the last time and we're blessed by her life and the journey she has had 14 years ago.
She was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 7, had undergone chemotherapy and was healed for 6 years, she was miraculously healed last year but was recurred 2 months ago. We were shocked when we heard of what had happened to her and asked God why at first? But God has a purpose and a plan and He makes no mistakes!
During our stay for 2 weeks, we saw many coming to the Lord through her life. Many testifies how they were blessed through her life and dedication to serve the Lord. And many surrendered their lives to the Master Planner, our Great God.
It's been a time of sorrow and pain, but reaping was at hand. We were all blessed by her life and how God molded her and we saw how God faithfully carried her through and provided for the needs of the family. It's not an easy journey but a fruitful one. A time of blessing and reaping...
